On September 13th, the first DIAMOND Requirements Workshop successfully brought together key stakeholders from the energy, industry, and climate sectors. Through group discussions and insightful exchanges, participants focused on strengthening analytical capabilities for more effective climate policy support and developing scenarios guided by the most pressing questions from stakeholders.
The next workshop is scheduled for October 2024, where we will continue advancing innovative climate solutions.
How is E4SMA Driving Impact in the DIAMOND Project?
As part of the DIAMOND Project, which aims to enhance 6 major Integrated Assessment Models (IAMs), E4SMA and the Basque Centre for Climate Change (BC3) are collaborating to develop and expand the OMNIA global model. This cutting-edge, open-access tool is built on the TIMES framework, designed to advance climate scenario analysis and improve decision-making for climate solutions.
