Overview
The purpose of the project is to increase the capacity of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources:
- in the implementation of energy efficiency strategies in line with the Directive 2012/27/EU;
- to provide accuracy in future projections, through improved calculating methodology for energy saving potentials, and development of projections of energy efficiency for the years of 2023, 2030 and 2050;
- in collecting, validation and processing energy efficiency data, producing sound and substantive statistics which will help decision makers to develop new policies and roadmaps.
In the framework of this project, E4SMA will:
- Define and develop a computer modelling software
- Provide training and capacity building
